Evergreen Pioneers - 4 to 5 year olds
The Evergreen Pioneers located on the Evergreen Retirement Community Campus is the preparatory stage before entering Kindergarten. Our 4 - 5 year olds are offered a routinely structured program that is developmentally appropriate teaching pre-kindergarten skills. We encourage self-help skills.
A unique opportunity for our class and children is our Intergenerational Program. We meet daily with Evergreen residents and engage in activities that both generations can experience. Very special relationships have formed between the residents and children.
The Evergreen Pioneer Room is staffed by 3 Early Childhood Teachers and operation hours are 6 am to 6 pm. Ratio is 12 children to 1 teacher.
